Default Denali cover question

Maybe this topic fits this section. But.... What other little things are needed for the Denali covers to work on a 6.0 that didnt have them? I already have the little hinge on the back of the intake. Do I need some other bolts or something?

ALSO............ I have a part number here I want to make dam sure before I order it. I want the Denali cover. The one that doesnt have that wierd *** cut on the front (below). I have 15006419 for the center. Is that right?

I know the 99s are different for the center cover, but I would assume the sides are the same as on my 02. The sides use exsisting holes in the valve covers to attach and two studs on the manifold. The top cover mounts with the hinge thing on the back and a small bolt on the front.

The only differences I am aware of between the denali and escalade is the escalade has the creast and the denali says Vortec 6000. What cut are you talking about?

See the cut right above the intake tube? I dont want that cover due to that. Would be a huge gap on my truck because of the way my intake tube runs to the airbox.

when you buy the side covers i beleive it has the screws on there already... also, i dont think you'll need anything else for it to work, the sides connect to studs on the block i beleive...

you probably already have the part numbers.. but its 15006419 (middle) 15006417 15006418 (left and right)...

I wasn't even thinking about that cut. Any of the electric throttle body trucks will have this cut, 03+ I think. I traded my cover for a stock ss cover and it had the cut.

Yea, looks like the cut is there to clear the throttle motor, which us 99-02 guys w/o traction control don't have. I didn't even realize that they made the cover w/o the cut in it...looks alot cleaner to me. The cut looks like what I had to do to my factory fan shroud to clear the K&N FIPK
