This past weekend I was driving around with my friend in his LT1 that runs a 13.2 in the 1/4, and I was in my truck that runs a 15.1 in the 1/4. I know it is slow. But anyway, we took of from a light normal, and then we punched it at 40 mph. Well I downshifted to 1st and started to pull on him. I took him all the way to 80 mph before he started coming back. It surprised the hell outta me and him. Then we ran from a stop, and he made me look really stupid. Damn, I just need a torque converter.

 

I was following a mid 90's T/A this weekend on the interstate and we came up on someone poking along in the fast lane. So the T/A jumped into the slow lane and floored it, Well I couldn't resist the urge to try to keep up so I punched it too. I was kinda shocked, I lost about four feet or so to him in the bottom of third gear but stayed right on him after that up to about 115 or so. I think he was impressed too cause he threw his arm out the window and waved at me afterward.
