This is a pic of a friend of mines 69 Ford Pickup. Race weight is 4070lbs it has a 429 Big Block with a D3-R Procharger with blow through carb setup. This weekend at Evadale Raceway in Evadale, Tx this truck made a best pass of 8.92 @ 153mph in the 1/4mile. This Truck with the same setup has been to cruisin the coast and on the Power Tour.

Just thought i'd share this with you all....I thought it was very impressive.

 

That's one of my favorite trucks. My dad had a 67 when I was a kid and I loved the hell outta that old truck. I'd love to have one someday.

And that's some SERIOUS mph for a truck. Unreal!
