Are you looking at just the short block or intake to oil pan??? Most of the time you should be able to get the short block very cheap. Some people give away 4.8's, i know its not a 5.3 but its the same block and piston diameter, all you need is crank and rods. What are you planning to do with it?

I called my local yard and they said 4.8s and 5.3s with anywhere from 90,000 and 130,000 go for $500, that's pan to intake complete with harness and computer. He didn't have any 6.0's and also said they hardly ever have them but said that he doesn't see why they wouldn't sell for the same price.
