Default Power Steering Fluid

I know this is a stupid question but I just wanna make sure of somethin.

Will that stuff work in the power steering pump?

I didnt wanna boy the GM crap cause it costs so much.

Call me crazy, but I use tranny fluid. It works fine and its cheaper, plus I always have it on hand.

Just get some cheap stuff, its not really a "high performance" application. It's mostly all the same and will say on the bottle if its GM approved. grab a turkey baster and got for it
