im going to be installing the trailblazer tc as soon as it gets here. i was told that the trans doesnt need to be taken all the way out, it can just be slid back and tilted.. is this true?
does anyone have any advice for me? any steps to follow to insure a good install? any pics?
anything would be appreciated!!
im going to be installing a transgo shift kit right after the stall. how many washer should i put in? i also have a super servo.

I went with two washers and vette servo, and its just right for me.
The trans can stay up there if you want. You'll need to remove the exhaust and both driveshafts as well as the trans crossmember. Watch for all the wires and be careful to get them all out of the way. I nearly pulled the plug off one that I missed. But if you are going as far as putting in a converter, you might as well pull it down to install the shift kit. You'll be glad you did. It won't take much more effort to remove the whole trans, and that effort will be more than made up by the time you save on the transgo install. Your body will thank you too.
