1.28 60' is saying pure drag truck and is gonna be hard to beat. But I got faith in your HP and top end charge!

you guys are pretty much compring apples and oranges here... Parish's truck is supposed to be "streetable" it is extremely hard to get ANYTHING in the 9's and still maintain any sort of drivability. With #'s rolling over the 1000hp/1000lbft mark, I think it is safe to say streetability is quickly going out the window of the blue chevy. Thats ok though... thats not meant to take anything away from him at all. Just go to 1320video.com and see what that thing is capable of. I have never seen a Firestone wrinkle on the dyno like that!!!

Silver-mod-o: We have all seen Jim's videos in 1320. I know the JLP's truck is a drag truck. Jim does too. It is just the fact that JLP is a God to those Ford boyz and it is funny that Jim is getting close to being able to give him a run for his money. And then drive home from the track

I bet if parish could pull a 60' foot of a 1.2 he would have no problem beating JLP for the number one spot.
I was thinking about parish 60' times which seem to average around a 1.7 then i looked over at the time sheets of all of the ford lighting guys and noticed the fastest ford lighting running a 1.7 60' feet was like 11.9x.

Being a 4wd I would never expect that 60ft time. If he started out with a 2wd he would be in th mid 9's or better with his combo, and have excellent 60ft times with a set of cal tracs and drag radials.

I doubt Jim will get a chance. New NHRA rules say no 4wd vehicles running faster than 10.00
What a crock of ****. Parish was/is my inspiration to get picked on by all my 4wd buddies. Im the only one around with a lowered Z-71. Oh well Im still in the 13's all motor. Trying for 12's all motor.

Regardless of if its a "street" truck or a "drag" truck, when your video calls out somebody, you better be ready to put down faster times than him. When you get that fast, a low 10 and a mid 9 is a world apart.
