painting my bumpers?

Default painting my bumpers?

i was planing on painting my front and back bumpers black to match my truck color. there crome now, should i buff them off, or sand them, or wire wheel or just clean them off then paint them??? how well is the paint gonna stick?? ima use my paint gun with idk what kinda paint???

Just a suggestion.....I bought my bumpers from ebay. They came prepainted with a semi gloss finish and have looked good for the past 2 years. The only complaint I have is they are not OEM bumpers so the fit wasn't perfect. I sold my stock chrome bumper to offset the price I paid for the ebay bumper....plus some.

I had mine powder coated. Nice finish and more durable. I took them apart and sent down the metal parts. $120
