ok i have been having a code on my truck p1516 throttle position actuator can anyone tell me where it is located on my truck

That would be the throttle body. Check the yellow wire which is the signal wire for a break. Should be within about 4-5 inches of the connector if the wire is broken. If it is broken you will see a light colored spot in the insulation and if you bend the white that spot will pretty much turn white and maybe just break right open. There is a bulletin about it out on the 05s and it seems like it applied to the older ones as well.

well I put my new computer in yesterday and this morning I was on the way to work as soon as I set my cruise control my truck went about a mile and then it did the reduce engine power crap again

I had the same code and REP. It was a bad ground.

Another reason throttle by wire is just pure idiotic. You don't see a throttle cable setting codes now do you? I once asked why and I was told TAC is lighter, less moving parts, less to go wrong. I don't know that I've ever even heard of a throttle cable going bad and a cable weighs what, half a pound maybe. The TAC pedal assembly, all the wiring, the module and so on probably weighs 10-15 pounds. I just don't see the logic. Throttle cable > TAC
