Just come back to Califonia and live in the Bay Area. For 6-700K you can buy a 3 bdrm 40 year old shack. Then you could fight the traffic whenever you decide to go the lake.

Just playing though...

I wish I could convince you to come to Cali, but for the reasons you have stated, it is probably not a good choice.

Ya dude, come to ATL, plenty of affordable living where I am at. Big houses too, plenty of land to build garages (wink wink)... im right next to mall of ga and right next to two major interstates and its not that crowded.. (two interstates being 985 and I-85). And.. your only 45mins from atlanta and a little over an hour from the closest track (commerce, Ga.)

I don't know about dead. It's pretty booming. there is a lot of land surrounding Ocala but Ocala itself is growing. Anywhere in this region has a ton of lakes but land is through the roof.

I like this idea, especially the garage part. If not close to lanier, check out lake hartwell near SC/GA border. Hartwell is an awesome lake imo, not that crowded either.

When I was looking at boats a few years ago, I liked the supra/moomba boats, especially the launch. I agree with everyone about mastercraft being way overprice, they are good boats though and seem to hold some value. We ended up with a MB Sports boat that we got for much less since it was used. Only thing I don't like about it is its not a vdrive.

this is what i use for a ski boat. dont let its small size or the motor fool you its a beast. motor is bored like a monster. has a piston the size of a 572 in it and it has a 25 shot of nitrous on it. i usually have me and 3 others in the boat and pull 2 wakeboards up with it no problem. nah i would get a ski natique also.
