Default no rcsb

i just went to approximately 4 or 5 dealerships and not a single one had a rcsb pickup. what is wrong with maine, this place sucks. not even used or anything. i wanted to know if it is like this anywhere else. i know its not in texas, u can go to a dealership and find millions of them. im tired of seeing only longbeds its lame. sorry for bitchin but, it does suck.

Yeah, you won't find too many of those on the lots. They are not the sellers. RCLB and EC's are the sellers. I ordered my first one, easy enough. But, when I went looking for my present one, I scoured the entire southeast inventory looking for them.

Hey I could care less what you think about the looks of ECs(dont mean to sound like an *** im just saying) buy what you like screw everyone else. But you cant deny that you can do so much more with the Ecs rather than a RCSB.

i looked for my truck for about 5 months, i had myself convinced that i wasnt gonna buy anything but a 2wd rcsb 5.3. well i ended up wit that but a 4.8, no biggie, all the more reason for a swap
i ended up driving for bout 150 miles, dont seem that long but to buy a damn work truck its a good bit. id have to say ive got one of the best deals ive heard of to. 02' rcsb 2wd 4.8 60k miles tow package for $9k. another bonus is the paint has been VERY well maintained, it must have been garage kept cause its really clean underneath to so im happy wit it. just keep lookin man, the worst thing you can do is be impatient cause the day you settle for something will be the week before some no name lot puts out a replica of what you want lol

FWIW, when I bought my regular cab, stepside, I flew from Greensboro, NC to Omaha, NE early on a Friday morning, bought the truck and drove it 1300 miles back. Got back home late Saturday night.

Funny thing was, I drove those 1300 miles in a bright red truck with no license plate and didn't get stopped until I was less than 10 miles from home!

Its the same way here in AR. The need for EC or CC cabs are, i guess, more in demand than RC. My prefrence is RC but i dont have a family. If i had a family i would get at least an EC.

Go to autotrader.com. May not be the best search but a good one. Type in zip and how many mile search. You can narrow it down to 2door, color, tranny, price, mileage, etc, etc.

I had to look around when I was shopping for my truck too. I knew I wanted a RCSB with a 5.3 and it had to be black. I searched local dealership inventories online and I eventually found what I was looking for.
