well i hade to put a 2 1/6 gauge in my truck but i want to keep it clean without any gauge pods or cup so sicnce i dont somke in the truck i look at the as tray if you take out the chrome ash holder th gauge fits perfrectly in the and its a clean look so u can shut it when u dont want to see it i guess it would work on and 03and up silverado i thinks it looks good imo
