The new Camaro is a winner
#1
Just got back from the Auto Show here in town and saw the concept Camaro. I was not going to go (because there really wasn't anything I cared to see), but a couple of friends told me how good the 2008/2009 Camaro looked in person, that it actually looked better than the pictures. Well, I was pretty impressed with the pictures so I decided to go check it out.
I was not disappointed. It really is an amazing design. If GM sticks with this template, they will hit this one completely out of the park. It was very impressive. The stance, the lines - it's one hot bitch, the new Camaro. I think I'll be getting one. The woman describing the car said LS2....I guess that means the SS will be getting an LS7? If so, that's the one I'll be buying.
The Challenger, on the other hand, fell flat in my eyes. The stance was similar to the Camaro, but the lines disappeared instead of creating inspiration. It seemed plain and almost match-boxish.
Good job, GM, on your new pony car - deliver as designed and you will sell a lot of these babys.

That's not affordable to most. I'm sure that won't be a standard performance version of the Camaro.
That would not be good pricing competition to the Mustang. The whole point of bringing back the Camaro would be to get sales from it.

42,000 Jr. Bacon Cheeseburgers seems kinda high but, they may be able to get that for them when they first hit the dealerships. I'll wait 6 months and get it for 30,000 Frosties.

I really like the lines on the camaro, it really does bring back some of the good hard lines from the 60's. as for the drivetrain, is it going to remain solid axle? and I'm sure they'll have a v6 model or somethin with all kinds of plastic so they can compete with the mustang. camaro>mustang
lol I love how everyone talks in food now.
my Z06 is gonna cost me 76,000 5-piece nuggets
