Default Need some oppinions

Im looking to buy a daily driver so my wife can drive her car to work. I refuse to drive my truck to work due to the parking lot i have to park in. people beat there doors into your car, steal anything they see of value, etc. so my truck will stay at home.

However, I've fount a 99 Silverado RCLB,4WD.4.8 with 150k on it, Has some damage on the bed like dents and looks like someone backed up to a trailer a messed up the bumper. As far as the cab forward, Everything is well taken care of.. The guy is asking 4000 for it and I was wondering if that seems fair, or should I go offer 3000 for it? Thanks to all that input.....

Seems a touch high. I've seen better ones for about that price, but if its fixable easily enough or just look that bad as I picture I would get it.

Why not get a car or small truck?

Since im a assistant manager, I make alot of trips to our sister stores and carry product back and forth so need a truck.. As far as size, I guess the full size is just a preference, I only have 4000 to spend. I also came across a 05 rclb with 184k on it but the body is perfectly strait for 4500 but it is just plain jane W/T, not a big deal tho, Its just a 2.5 hour drive to see it...

I paid 4 grand Canadian for a very similar truck 2 years ago, and I've heard trucks down south are way cheaper. Offer 3, if you miss it, I'm sure you could still find a deal.
