Default Need Info on ALL On mod for 2000 Z71

I have done the all on light mod on my Duramax , no problem.

Just cant find any info on doing the All on mod for a 2000 model.

Can you guys send me in the right direction?

Thanks!!

Also would like a plug and play Driving light upgrade, any brighter bulbs that would fit in these 880 housings? These stock bulbs arent very bright.

Thanks!! Again!

Not sure if it's exactly what you're looking for, but it should send you in the right direction.

Thanks Guys.

Bud, I read that whole thread a while ago and replyed at the end with same question, no answer. But thanks for the help !

Looks Like that Mr Tailight Kit might just be the easiest way to do it.

Thanks again for the Links guys

Easier than just cutting a wire and grounding it...?

EDIT: nevermind, didn't realize you were wanting to do the fogs too.

Yeah, The low/high on is simple and cheap LOL!

But i want fogs also and havent found a way yet other than the Mr. Tailight harness so far.

Was really hoping someone found a way.

Hmmm, I wonder how the harness does the fogs...are there any relays involved?

I bought the Painless 4-hi kit when I first bought the truck, before I was a member here and before I had access to the electrical schematics. It was expensive and contained a relay, which all seems like overkill now that we all know that all that needs to be done is to ground one wire on each side.

I'd like to do the fog mod myself, but don't want to spend $26 for another harness kit. The fog light button is momentary, so the BCM gets a quick signal to turn the fogs on. I'll bet that there's some way to bypass the BCM and jump a wire and relay from the headlight switch to the fogs, but I'll also bet that there's something even easier than that lol.
