Default Need help finding a specific toggle switch...ON-ON-ON

I've been formulating my plan to add a trans temp gauge, and as much as I'd like a cluster with one built in, I am far too cheap for that. Also too cheap for the Aeroforce.

So a $50 autometer or similar in the overhead console is my plan so far. When I frequented the Impala SS boards, guys would combine engine oil and trans temp readings in one gauge using a toggle to switch between two sending units.

Easy enough right? Well I want to monitor THREE sending units, (oil, trans, rear end). I searched and can't find a switch that I think will work. Needs to have three positions, on-on-on. The rest of the wiring should be easy.

My plan for the sending units are
ENGINE-Plate above oil filter, drilled and tapped.
TRANS-Pressure port, (used this on my LT1 Caprice)
REAR END-Bung Welded into cover.

Sound like it will work? Know where I can find a switch that will work?

Looking for guidance and feedback from the experts!

Wouldn't a heater fan switch out of an older car do that? Or can't you have a common wire? Or how about a wiper switch with several delay speeds?

it'd be ghetto as hell, but you could always run two regular switches. One to switch between, say, engine and tranny, and the other to switch between the output of the first one and the rear-end. Just gotta wire it right and remember what does what lol.

Like I said, though, it'd be ghetto as hell, but it'd work.

I think you can use a DPDT switch. You just need to connect some of the terminals on the back. If not you could always use a rotary switch.

TOWING. It will only cost me an additional $35-45 to gain these two functions over just installing the trans temp gauge. The way I see it, Why not?

And whos to say there won't be some kind of FI going on in the future?

Thanks for the reply!
