I did bilsteins with shock relocation brackets. My truck rides BETTER than new. But I'm only on a 3" drop.

A buddy of mine used to have a 03 rscb that was slammed with a c notch and he put those aftermarket drop shocks on his truck, they rode like absolute trash and he was going through them a lot if I remember.

You may be able to get away with a stock shock and extenders. Contact Reklez. Get their number on their website reklez.com, they do tons of drop kits on GM's and have all this stuff figured out already. They have techs that answer the phones and are super helpful and can tell you exactly what you need

Let us know what they say so we all know in the future.

Depending on your budget, Ridetech has a bolt on 3 link kit for the rear with coilovers. I have it on my 06 ECSB and it's pretty rad. Other than that, I would relocate the shocks and the Viking shocks work well, or whatever other people are recommending. It is important to get the right shocks though.

I had to go up and edit my post. Somehow I posted I'm on a 6" drop.

That was a typo, I'm on a 3" in the rear, so I'm using stock length.

I have a shock extender on the passenger side, but it didnt seem to change anything. I may go with the shock relocation kit that was linked earlier, and see what that does since i can get it welded in on the weekend. My next option would probably by either different shocks or different wheels and tires.
Funny enough, I have had the same experience with tires. My truck came on 20" aluminum Centerlines with 275/45r20s all around and it rode pretty nicely imo. I've tried on several sets of stock wheel and tire size combinations (245/70 on both aluminum and steel stocks, 265/70 on 17s, 265/70 on 16s) and they all rode worse than the 275/45s Both sets of 275/45s were cheap *** tires (Winrun and Atturo aka Federals) as well. Maybe lighter wheels would help since that's a bit less unsprung mass for the shocks to deal with but I doubt it. Shock relocation will probably be your best bet short of 4 or 3 linking with coil overs. Just don't forget to add some traction bars to reduce the chance of axle wrap if you do relocate the shocks. Also, since I initially replied to this thread, I think one of my rear Belltech shocks may have gone out too
