what is the defenition of NWS?
has to be more specific, I'm certain most people see what gets emailed from CPU to CPU in the work environment, nakedness is usually the least offensive.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure NWS in our case means no bare ******* and puss.......

this is ghetto rigged. i think that the truck section was our own lil world and now yall are trying to get us out of it, our useless posts and threads in the truck lounge really did no effect to the other guys in the rest of the forum, adn it is true, the truck guys dont fit in with the other ls1 guys so a good joke posted in their racers lounge wouldnt sit as well as it would in our own little community. granted, recently some of the posts may have gotten a lil off topic but between the "truckers" that is fine by most of us.

and there is an interesting post up there posted by i think greg? im not sure. to lazy to check but u state taht u dont see the reason for a second lounge on the forum when there already is one? well then tell me as to why us truckers have our own classified section. there is already a classified section for the rest of them, wait let me correct myself they have 5 different places to post up something they want to sell. (sponsor/GP, parts for sale, parts wanted, vehicle classifieds, non-auto classifieds) i think one reason we have our own classifieds is because we all like to interact with our own kind, we all like to talk to who we have grown accustomed to talking to. basically u are askin us to make totally new acquaintenses(major sp) with so many people when we were already happy with how things were. my proposition is just to let the truck lounge/ general truck topics go back to the way it was 3 months ago, when it was ok to make a random post as long as it didnt get out of hand... my 2c. sorry for the horrible organization, i dont do good in english.

personally, i dont know that much about alot of performance stuff and other truck related info... the lounge was a place for me to go when i was overwhelmed with technical talk, i was able to shoot the **** and **** off with other people who had the same interest in me... trucks!

it was a bond...

... at work, im the only lowered fullsize, everyone else drives camaros/mustangs/ricers/trans ams etc... this was my place to chill... now i feel like i cant be myself anymore...

i sadmit, i was a post ***** most of the time... but it was all out of trying to make a comraderie(sp?) with other truckers... i wish LS1tech could go back to how it was before april... back when i was posting from afghanistan. it made being over there so much easier.

niwtsol, I agree with most of what you said. In all honesty, I'm not real crazy about the idea of sending us truck guys off to other forums, but I do understand the method to the madness. Let me start by saying that I didn't like this or agree with it at all when I first read about it.

Now that I have stood back, thought about it and realize what's going on ... I understand it and agree with it. There are 2 goals here ... the BIGGEST goal is to get the total and complete bull **** that gets out of hand out of this section. The 2nd is to let the car guys know we are here to stay and we are serious about performance too, just in a different method than they are. If you look at what Greg said in an earlier post about it this, you would notice a dialogue he quoted that went something along the lines of this

WHats up
nothing bitch
whos ur daddy
<user>'s your daddy
i have mnore horsepower on the floor than you do

I don't know about ya'll, but those are usually the threads I ignored anyways. I think one reason I have become lax in my posting is because of so much of the uder crap that's gone on. I will usually ignore the same threads over and over and ignore the ones that are similar to what I quoted just above. The sad thing is there has been threads that have gone very close to that.

I really don't think this is meant to be an iron hammer coming down.

NiwTsol, where are you from, drawing assumptions from you saying you're not very good with English, I'm guessing it's somewhere foriegn.

This site rocks dont get me wrong.. but we have two other sections to talk all about trucks.. With the truck lounge i could always count on Hitman or Chingon to brighten up my day with something that was really funny.. i guess i just dont understand why we cant have it like it used to be where the guys that were familiar with could shoot the bull... just tone down some of the stuff posted.. oh well no matter what this site rocks.. im just one of the people that is going to miss the old truck lounge

Oh ... forgot to comment about the duplicate forums. Let me try and break down the for sale forums....

Sponsers/GP's - This is where sponsers SHOULD post their sales and GP info, lots of good deals on NEW parts in there
Parts For Sale - Just that, lots of car parts. Some of the motor parts can be used for the trucks as well, but it's directed more for the cars, like lids, headers, shifters, etc
Parts wanted - this is where you go and say you need this oddball part that you can't find anywhere else. I've had a couple of ads in there answered, but I've placed way more than have gone answered
Vehicle Classifieds - This should be where whole cars go, I suppose technically trucks for sale should go there too.
Non-Auto Classifieds - This would be where you would find stuff like phones, Xbox's, ps2's, tv's, couchs, refrigerators and anything else that isn't related to cars
Truck Classifieds - truck specific items, like bumpers, cold air intakes, headers, gears, seat covers, or anything else that doesn't need to cloud up the car parts forum.

The car parts forum is by far the busiest forum on here I think. It gets an insane amount of traffic. I've posted something in there and witin an hour it be on page 2, it needs all the cleaning it can get, sadly, it just doesn't happen very much.

Please don't take this as a personal attack, I'm just trying to get ya'll to see what it took me a little while to realize. I think there are a lot who think the same thing you do ... I did too ast first.

Dude I dont care if there are 100 truck sections here, I was referring to the quality of the site. Over there the owners decided to crap on the truck guys and you see how that turned out, everybody worth a dime went elsewhere. I would rather that didnt happen here.

p.s.- Although the BS served no function and was somewhat annoying, I am not sure that moving ALL non-truck related posts is the best idea. It seems like it might do away with some of the camaraderie that builds on here.
