The site has taken a very negative attitude toward people also in the recent months. When I first joined it was nice and upbeat, as time went on it seemed you're only "cool" or "hip" if you spend $10,000 on some performance mods then somehow magically you're made into a moderator. I can recommend a procedure or product to someone then I'm casually blown off, whereas if someone else does they're thought of as some higher power. It's absurd really and I am not the only one that sees that.

Aside from that, problems were also caused by a select few who think they are too good to help someone out or leave you with vague and ambiguous answers that are about as useless as a screen door on a submarine. Back when the Lounge was there a few times I received smartass replies directed toward me when it's obvious that I had warned people of the nature of the post and it was in the area for posts such as that.

We all did some screwing around but not to the extent where it harmed anyone or we attempted to go out of our way to be malicious to a person...if anyone took a thread to heart, that's their own fault. That area was just the place to kick back and shoot the breeze and nothing more.

Ergo, I choose not to post here on LS1tech anymore due to the recent events and banning that had taken place over a single thread. I do not wish to be part of a group of people where you are punished for stating your opinion and standing up for what you believe in. That seems to go against principals laid out in most people's lives. To me it seemed that all of a sudden the lax rules went away and if you were not liked by a few people you were in trouble...that includes myself also.

Consider this the LAST post from me on this site, and if anyone needs to find me...you know where to look, or how to contact me...

Well since I'm not really into the whole truck modding thing anymore myself, I have no use to be on this site as well. I shall show my friendship and loyalty to the bonds I have and chunk the deuce outta here as well!

I know exactly where you are coming from, and I too have not really been on much anymore myself. I'm not sure of your exact situation, but it sucks that it had to come down to this. A.M.F! ......adios, my friend!
