After much thought about this, looks like it will be to much of an uphill battle to get the truck done fot the Thunder Shootout. Getting the engine done is really not the problem. It's that extra $2500 for a tranny with 71k on it that will go after 2 or 3 600+hp runs is stopping progress. I'm still going to aquire parts and build the 6.0 , just wih a longer timeline and a few upgrades. I still just can't get over the fact that I really don't want to do it to my present truck. I really want to get a reg cab stripper and put it in there. So with that in mind, it will be next year. So I'll probably just throw the gas back on and get the truck in the thirteens and be happy with that. Maybe a mild cam swap to. I'm also gonna do some more appearance mods wile I'm at it.

Well...at least you have a 6.0 to build.I'm still being stubborn and screwing around with this puny 4.8.Dont have the money for a motor swap right now anyway
Just think about what you'll have next year
