Very Nice. I have been contimplating doing that to my 62 Chevy II Wagon. Still thinking though because money is a factor on that car. Regardless, very cool.

There is a MAF, just waiting to pick up the couplers from Turbonetics when i have a chance ... I happened to choose 3.5" tube to bend the intake out of which makes for finding universal couplers a little harder. The MAF will reside in the straight section between the upper hose and filter.

Downflow radiator was kept simply because how great everthing fit around it or on it. You would be suprised too as the radiator was near perfect in condition. If havent read my previous post about the history of this car it was quite the find. It was stored since 1972 until we pulled it out of hibernation (in a barn still on original rubber and with just under 60k virgin miles) it had been drained of fuilds and sheilded from weather and use. The stock 283 and powerglide actually fired after a few hours of prep and motored her around for a while until we worked out the Gen III motor swap details. The picture of the interior was nearly the way it was when we found it... not a scratch, not a tear in a seat, not a crack on the dash or steering wheel, and the headliner was still in tact.

2" Cowl hood seems to be the choice and still getting some chrome and filling some holes from some debadging but it looks like she going to be monochrome gun metal grey ... like the GM C5 dark grey metallic.

She will be off for a while at the painters and then back for a stay at work for Super Chevy to do the custom exhaust write up.
