Default Just got back from the shootout

Well i just got back from the Thunder Shootout with some new times. I had a great weekend and met a lot of new people from the site and just racers in general. Those i met include, MR.MIX, BLACKSHEEP, DECKHAND, STALLSPEED,PRO STOCK JOHN, NINE BALL, 01THUNDER, SLOW PROCESS,and a few others whos names i forgot. Man what a great group of guys we have here on the site. Everyone i talked to was more than happy to answer any questions I had and give info and advice. I believe Mr. MIX had the fastest time out of the trucks with a 11.7? before he had a some shitty luck. I put up some new best times but my bracket racing needs some work. I red lit in the second round. My new times are:
R/T .087
60FT 1.876
330 5.384
1/8th 8.288
MPH 84.28
1000 10.833
1/4 13.011
MPH 103.67
Everyone post there times and how they did this weekend.

Old best was a 13.73 at 97.46 but with the weather as warm as it was this weekend I probably would have run a 13.80-13.95.

Just made it back from the 5 hour trip. Great to see some of the guys again and meet some new ones! I had a blast this weekend! We had an awesome showing of trucks for tech. I really think the truck guys are the nicest group of guys anywhere. I also finally got a time on the new setup. Congrats to Jim and Luke for coming in first and second (again) this year. You guys are officially banned from running in any future bracket events.

I'm really pleased with the new setup. I still think the truck can squeeze a little more out of it with a better launch.

Dial in- 12.80
R/T- .144
60ft- 1.849
330- 5.228
1/8- 8.071 MPH-85.69
1000ft-10.562
1/4- 12.676 MPH-106.36

Well, I was 1 and out in the bracket, but I really came down to see what the new setup could do. I see an Eaton will definately be on my Christmas list this year. Had a great time and can't wait to hit Hattisburg this winter, so I try to get my low 12. It really felt good to drive the truck 5 hrs, run a mid 12, and load it up and drive the 5 hrs home. Now it's time to finish my bolt ons and get that Eaton.

Default Thunder Shootout

I had a good time and met a lot more people this year than last year. We need more events like this one.

I agree. Riley, there going to be having a group of trucks meet up in Hattisburg sometime in Dec. You guys will have to make it down there too. This time, bring the truck so you can play too. It's always fun to beat on the trucks, then drive them home. P.M sent to you.

Sounds like a plan. Hopefully it won't be durning the week though, cause work might be a problem. Keep me posted though, I've been meaning to make it down that way.
