behind the accessory/alt bracket on the DS of the engine. its also cast on the rear of the block behind the flywheel.

Also you have a 2000, if the motor is a 2007 the harness is no bueno for you and the motor has a 58(?) tooth reluctor wheel, you need one with a 24x or a converter box. Knock sensors are also located elsewhere (just need an extension harness). Disregard this if it out of a 2007 classic.

If its out of a gmt-900 2007 then the 5.3 has flat-top pistons and 243/799 heads.
