$5 is a lot cheaper than $200-300. And there's plenty of people that just gut the cats and leave the stock manifolds and Y pipe on there. Just throwing out options.

Just curious - how's the smell after you gut the cats? Rotten egg? Eye-watering?

smells like an old muscle car, pretty strong gas smell.

That is what one smells like with cats and running too rich.

Removal of the cat's can also cause some exhaust systems to become raspy sounding and at the very least become louder. I ended up adding a Dynomax Bullet in each pipe in front of my muffler to kill some of the raspiness.

DOH I was thinking he already had the tune, In that case the defoulers would be cheapest..
