Oh lord. Have you crossed over to the dark side?? Yank out that thing Ford calls a tranny and put a manual there isntead if you get a Lightning. And that 5.4 too...

my 2000 Lightning weighed 4850 w/me and a full tank. The 2002 Chev weighs 4750 w/me and a full tank. I weigh about 280 so i guess that makes em weigh 4570 and 4470 respectively.

i know its alot heavier than a silverado. i thought they weighed as much as an extcab silv

That weight for the Chevy seems kinda high though. My RCSB stepside 2wd weighs 4300# with me and a half tank of gas in it so 4150# without me.
