How high of rpms are you guys turning with 220+ cams and stock intake? I have read of people turning upwards of 6500 on the stock truck intake. Any input!!!!

 

I'm shifting at 6500, but would like to increase it to 6700-6800 soon.

 

I am shifting at 6800 RPMs on a Comp 224/230 on xer lobes. Still feels like it's pulling pretty good at 6800 but I know that stock intake has to be starting to become a choke point.

 

6300-6400 right in there for me TR220

 

232/238 6800-7000 l92 truck intake

I believe I had my 4.8 revving at 6200 with my Lunati 221 and it would still pull except the trans was slipping

Im gonna probably run the 6.0 to about 6400 with the same cam see if its still making power. I wouldnt go past 7k tho, thats IF you are still making power at that point

 

6800 rpm, hp leveled off on dyno. shift at 6500.
