Just like the title .... how much do they weigh in at?

 

they must weigh a lot caz i have a 4.8 and have beat a few and i heard they run 16 stock and that was my best time stock i raced them with the hypertech

GVWR 6400 Lbs

Where did you hear they run 16's? My SS, when it was stock, ran a 15.00 @ 88

 

I know we have more than one SS that visit's this site .....

 

I think a ss could run 16 on maybe 6 cylinders. I have seen them run stock from 14.8 to 15.4 and that wasn't broken in. Heavy as hell, but still.

 

So ... what do they tip the scales at ????????

 

Same weight as a excab Z71 LT I'd think as the drivetrain is near identical. Say low 5000s unloaded and 5400 decked out.

 

I heard those times from a friend that read it in a mag mabe his info was bad but hey i have beaten one and i havent ran with my hpertech but that isnt going to make me go 14.8 and i have beaten like 2 mabe the ones i raced were messed or bad drivers
