the ss bumper cover i had attached with 2 sided tape and screws, if there is no hole in the bumper you will have to drill holes in it or fill the holes in the cover and only use tape to hold it

You must of had a street scenes replica bumper, My gm ss bumper cover has i think 2 tabs on each side on the top for some kind of clips like the original poster is talking about, but you have to have a specific ss inner bumper for these tabs to attach to, but Ive been running a normal 03-07 inner bumper, just use the gm factory brackets and braces and the bumper cover will be perfectly fine

I installed the street scene bumper, it took some cutting/modding and I made my own ssteel brackets, it came out nice, I like the one piece fit

here is a pic of the lower ssteel brackets

yeah i ended up just using double sided tape and drilling holes in nonvisible places n screwed the bumper on..its decent but its just temporary..ima weld some brakets on to the bumper to give it somethin to clip in to eventually..

and also i dont like the gap in between the top of the bumper cover n the turn signals and bottum of the grill, ima weld the bumper bracket probably 3/4 of an inch up to close the gap and make it fit tight.
