Well which bumper do you have because I just did a gm ss bumper cover install on my truck and it went pretty smooth!

i have a 99 sierra and i jus purchased the 04 front end and i am wanting to do the ss front end someone told me the bumper brackets would be different from my 99 gmc brackets than the 04 chevy brackets and if there is, is there an easier way than welding it up like the guy that told me that did to his

So I'm wanting to put an SS bumper on what all do I need to buy and does it go on over my stock bumper or do I have to have it off first cause it's already off Thanks
