Default how did you do on your '07 n/body purchase?

i just bought my new crew cab tonight.......i feel pretty good about it!

i got a black crew cab with...
-5.3
-towing package(3.42's/ trans cooler/ locking diff)
-z60 susp/ 20's
-remote start
-and the basic 1lt package

i wasnt too concerned with the bucket seats, dual climate and info center, but i do wish i could have afforded the 6.0

i got it for $500 below invoice with about 2200 worth of rebates.
this is the first time i have ever bought a new vehicle so im kinda curious of how i did....what do you think?

Got mine for $500 under invoice, plus higher amount for trade-in than was quoted in Edmunds or KBB.

nevermind i just used this... just give them wrong info when you fill it out, they just give you the invoice right after you fill out the info

Did you get it 500 below invoice including the rebates or 500 below invoice plus rebates.

Ideally, you should be able to get them to sell you the truck $200-800 +/- over the original invoice price and then they will tack the rebates on over the top of that. Bringing you total down to well under what the invoice price is. I have bought the last 3 of my trucks online and dealing with the internet managers gets better deals.

If they only gave you rebates, then you paid full sticker price for the truck and IMO was not a very good deal. But I absolutely refuse to pay sticker for anything.

i dont have the paper work in front of me, but the sticker was around 31,800 with the remote start that i added. i also bought gap insurance at $395(which i am cancelling), and i ended up at about 28,600. and invoice was around 29,100. plus i went from the 8.1 interest rate they tried to stick me with to 6.25 .

i probably could have done better, but it was the middle of the month, and after driving the truck for two days....im happy.

...im just having a hard time not modding it. all my money is going to a wedding, and finishing my rx7.
