I know the feeling though. b.net released a new patch for D2, and it made my lvl81 barb who would own hell suck ***. He got his *** handed to him in nightmare after the patch. I also lost a really nice armor piece, a sweet belt, and a pair of rings that were pretty nice on my sorc. Which reminds me about my sorc too. She was lvl91 and could do hell Meph runs all day long and not get hurt, but after the patch, she can't even do nightmare runs. Anyways ... I was afterwards as well as a lot of others. I would bet a lot of people wanted to do the same thing you would. Rumor has it the guy that made the patch quit afterwards because higher ups changed a lot of stuff after he made it and ruined the game.
