Default high pitch noise

So i have a noise coming from my left front tire.
The guy who usually does the work on my car said he can't hear it.... he's old and can't hear some pitches.
Any ways. while i'm driving straight it will make a high pitch sound that's very inconsistant.... when i press the brakes it goes away. Also the sound doesn't happen right away, it seems like it has to worm-up first then it starts to squeak.
So i just got done replacing my rotors and pads... still squeaks!!
What do you think it is?????

Possibly the metal dust shield rubbing on the rotor?

that sounds exactly what it is..

simply get under there and bend the shield back just a little bit.. see if it goes away?

Default noise

No it's not that, i checked....
The sound isn't a grinding noise, it a very high squeak. It happens once the car gets warm and is very speradic (sp?).
squeak.........squeak..squeak...............squeak .squeak.squeak.........................squeak..... .squeak........ and as soon as i hit the brakes it goes away.

Sounds like the brake pad wear sensors are hitting the rotors, but you mentioned that you just replaced the pads and rotors. Maybe one of the sensors is bent and touching the rotor? Or, something in the wheel bearing/hub assembly or abs reluctor/sensor? Is there something on the wheel that's hitting the caliper, like a mis-placed stick on wheel weight?

weird..

but I'm sticking with the dust shield.. on my other car it looked like it wasn't bent but it was bent just ever so slightly that you heard it.. at low speeds it was a high pitched squeek very slow then as I sped up it squeeked faster and you heard it loud when passing other cars.

it almost sounded like an alien under the car
