i have had no problems out of my predator. you need to remember that people have lost there pcm's with edit also.all things that are mods you will take a chance with.my predator is awsome.if you do everything just like you are suppose to you should not have any problems.but like with everything.there will be some that have problems.nothing is perfect.

My soon to be father-in-law works with a guy who has a reg. cab hemi. It ran low 16s all night at red river raceway, they even had like 3 or 4 people drive it and couldn't get it in the 15s. That was back in May, on a cooler night. I had one encounter with a reg. cab hemi w/ flowmasters. He thought he was sooo cool in his loud truck. We were in traffic going about 25, I threw a loud rev at him and he jumped me by about half a truck, we raced only until about 40 (all the way until the 1-2 shift) and his headlights were right behind my truck. This was before my cam, headers, dynomax bullets. I had a Jet Chip, Dual flowmasters, K&N FIPK, and a GMS Mass Airflow Sensor. I had been to the track w/ those mods and ran a 15.78 on a cold night.

Hey 01thunder do you have an open differential? If you dont have at least a factory locking rear end then that explains your traction problems and quarter times. I have heard good stuff about the Eaton locker. Im running the factory locking diff and it's definitely better than an open rear end

Hey formula346, I cant believe that Escape was running a 15 flat, sounds a bit fast for a SUV that typically runs 16's. Maybe the timing lights were off or something?

true flow is a brand name for intake ex: k&n fipk. except i kept the k&n filter. i also have 1.85 comp rockers. was truely dissapointed at the track. before rockers and intake, best time was a 15.567 @89mph---1/4mile after best time was 15.4??.i would have to look at the slip again for accuracy. what do you think about the times, not very impressive at all are they.
i know how you feel... thanks to Tucson's altitude and heat, my times are the crappiest, even after everything i've put into it... its really discouraging...
