Default good day at the track

A few of us met up at the track in Hattiesburg. A few new best were run. I ran a 14.6 (yea i know, still slow) and Slowprocess ran a 12.5 on motor. He has some vids he is going to post up when he gets home.

As always it was nice to see TnTruck and BigKID.

No other brand truck show up to run even though the offer was laid out to the ford and dodge guys.

fyi, if anyone is down south and considering going to Hub City, you are required to wear a helmet now. I had to argue with the track officials to let us run without one.

Exactly!!! Maybe there will be a few to pick on if we get that Memphis meet together.

Yep, got a new best last night(still got beat by that pesky Mach 1)

Reaction- .564
60ft- 1.773
1/8th- 7.962@86.51mph
1/4- 12.54@105.602

Damn, Jim, I was hoping to get one of you losing to another brand truck so I could post it up for everyone.

I'll have a few vids up tonight(including me getting beat by the mach 1)when I get home from work. Had a great time and good to see everyone!!!

So.. you dont want to tell everyone how bad I skull drug you down the track? :haha: I am guessing my burnout tips helped you out with your race aginst Cliff (Mach1). He told me he was getting worried when you got the hole shot on him and want pulling back as quick as he though he should. I wish you would have beat him though so I could give him more flack about getting beat by another Silvy. I wish you could have had your lauch sorted out when we ran though. Maybe next time.
As for my truck, she wasnt running as good as she should although the weather and track was getting progressively worse thruout the day. Best I could muster on motor was a 13.32@99 with a dead hooking 1.85 short time and 12.30@108 on the spray spinning to a 1.78 short time.

well, to start with it is an ecsb step side. 5.3L. homemade cai, udp, BB mod 160 stat, plugs n msd wires, ls1 fans, single 3" cutout, 4.10 gears with g80 and the predator programmer. oh and i have a 2000 vette cam. i think that is about it. i can't remember any more.

i have a chokemaster muffler but i dont' use it since i got the cutout welded on. it makes a 2 tenth difference between the two.

i agree with your statement above, i was just giving myself a little **** i guess cause everyone else was so much faster than me.

Jim that verter might be a stocker. I emailed bte and they said they think it is a stock one. they gave me a code that should be on the top of it. i haven't checked it out just yet. if you can, check the converters you still have and see if this part number is stamped on it anywhere " 812801". like i said, i havn't checked this one yet.
