gas cap lock broken..down to less than 1/4 tank help!

Install a second gas tank on the other side.

That Happened To Me..... Just Pry It With A Flathead Screwdriver.... The Black Cap Part Will Actually Break Off Pretty Easy.... Then You Will Have Just The White Base You Will Have To Get Lose Which Is No Big Deal

you don't need a lock anyway. if someone wants the gas they'll get it, thats not the best way into the tank anymore.

He may be using it to prevent people from putting **** in his gas tank.....like sugar.

True. never thought of that. Some kids did that to my grandpa's Cummins a few months back and he still has problems with it.

naw it came with it when i got it. plus sometimes that stupid check engine light comes on if the cap isn't tight enough on or comes loose a bit. prolly wont be using a cap style lock anymore tho.
