Fuel pump replacement - Racetronix in 2000 Silverado
#1
The OEM pumps are expensive as hell and I can't justify that with Walboro pumps being so cheap an accessible. From what I have read I can use the following:
http://www.racetronix.biz/itemdesc.a...PA-007&eq=&Tp=
http://www.racetronix.biz/itemdesc.a...%2D016&eq=&Tp=
http://www.racetronix.biz/itemdesc.a...%2D001&eq=&Tp=
I read a few write ups and it seems like one of these will work with little modification. I m not trying to be a cheap ***, but $340 for a delphi pump is ridiculously overpriced.
Are there any ill effects of putting a performance pump in a stock truck? Will it overrun the fuel pressure regulator? Etc...
If you have any questions about my application let me know. It is a bone stock 5.3L, 2000 Z71 Extended cab.
