Default Fuel door bumpers missing?

I assume that I am not the only one that has noticed their fuel door bumpers disappearing...
well...GM wants about 2.50 ea for them...
I found them at the parts store with the Irish name...in the Dorman section...pack of assorted bumpers for a couple of bucks...
two of the included bumpers fit perfectly...they are quite a bit larger in diameter than stock, but the depth is PERFECT...the fuel door lines up perfectly...
the Dorman part # for the pack of assorted bumpers is 961-375

mine would fall out when I'm washing the truck, and pass my rag over it. would that the case, or petty thief?

If you touch them, they fall out.

Interesting, I've gotta look at mine...we don't pump our own gas here in Jersey, so I don't really look at my fuel door too often...

LOL, actually, gas is cheaper here than it is for our neighbors in NY. As far as tipping, I never got any tips when I pumped gas in high school...except maybe once or twice around the holidays.

Thumbs up Fuel Door Bumpers

I had the same issue when I bought my silverado 1500. I did find this ebay auction though. Easier than going to a dealer and a decent price.
