I had a recurring P0446 after I replaced my fuel pump. In the process of trying to fix the code I replaced the purge valve, evap vent valve, charcoal canister, fuel pressure regulator valve, and fuel tank pressure sensor.

The charcoal canister kept filling with fuel, and no I don't keep filling the tank after the pump clicks.

And finally the fuel pump.

Turns out rockauto sent me the wrong fuel pump. The center line on the fuel pump vents to the charcoal canister. Note the old delphi pump has a black tube from the bottom of the pump to the top. The new Ac Delco just has a vent there. It's been 2 weeks now and the light hasn't come back on...knock on wood.
