Also installed some shorter poly front bumpstops and some softer Monroe Gas Matics. Rides and handles a lot better now. Now just have to get some inline crossovers for the tweeters.

Anyone have any brake pads they would recommend or not recommend?

Got some NGK G Power Platinum TR5's installed just a bit ago. Runs better and smoother than the V-power TR6's that were in it. Very nice plug. Kinda funny that the 4.8l is gapped at .060" and the 5.3 and 6.0 at .040".

A performance pad will stop better but make more dust and possibly make noise, a good ceramic pad will be almost dust free and stop well, but not as good as a performance pad like the Hawk HP's...it depends on what you're looking for out of your pads. I have Praise Dyno cryogenically treated pads and slotted rotors, as well as Russell SS brake hoses, and my trucks braking is much improved over stock. The pads don't dust horribly, but they do produce more dust than stock, and the best thing is they don't make any noise (knock on wood)...I hate squeaky brakes.

IMO, If you're looking to keep your wheels clean, go with factory ceramic pads, If you're looking for performance stopping, I've heard good things about Hawk and EBC, but don't have any personal experience with them. Google Praise Dyno Brakes, and price out their pads, they're a mom and pop shop in Texas. I'm very happy with their products

Ok. I read an article explaining the ins and outs of them in a mag. Car and Driver or HotRod. Either way they all seem to be a compromise. Im looking at the semi metallics line or maybe the organic ceramic styles. Want low dust and good low to medium temp performance with long life. We'll see soon enough. Will prolly just do pads then rotors and lines later. It is a DD but brakes on the street are a real good priority.

Also whats happening in Jackson?

I like the truck a lot. Its not a show truck by any means but its fun.

Well my truck has been running like **** for over a week and it was obvious it was the O2 sensors. Got two Densos and now it runs great again. Its amazing how big of a difference those little sensors make. haha.
