Well what motor did you have?

You can get the LQ4 lower output 6.0 for a lot less...

Go with a 6.0 hands down. $2,700 for a 6.0 is insane. I am sure you can get a better deal.

hey joe, why not bore the 5.3 out to 3.905" buy some OTS forged Diamond pistons and a set of Crower rods and build a forged internal motor 348" is a lot better than 325, especially with forged internals. if your block is damaged i have a 4.8 i'll let go cheap.

definately go with the 6.0, the lq4 will be better for boost since it has lower compresion.

No point in going with anything less than a 6.0. It's only going to make you faster.

there's plenty of a point going with less than a 6.0....

if you're going to put the same setup back on the next motor, it would be stupid to do so to yet another stock motor, especially when you can take a block that you already have and have it bored cheap and buy some forged internals for still less than what a 6.0 would cost. and if you build it forged you can run even more boost/nitrous than you did before with no worries. it's really a no brainer if you're looking for the most out of your setup.

Really just go with a 6.0. That is what I would do if my 5.3 would take a crap on me. I have seen a few low milege 01 and newer 6.0 here and on ebay for about $1,500.

When did this happen? I seen you at the carwash yesterday washing your escalade and your pickup was there. Get the 6.0 hands down!
