Default Are electric fans worth it?

Hey what up guys. I have a 2000 Silverado with a 4.8. I was thinking about putting an electric fan but wanted to get feedback on 'em first. Is it worth it? Better fuel mpg, hp, and throttle response?

the only way im doing efans is if I can do the complete GM OEM setup - 34" radiator and oem fans. And seeing how that's about $800 Ill stick with the clutch fan for the time being.

get some LS1 fans. they push plenty of air to keep just about anything cool, they are easy to mount up and are slim enough to leave you more than enough room to get to just about everything on the front of the motor without touching them
