Default Drop'n rear 2"

If I drop the rear end with 2" lowering shackles/blocks can I still use my stock shocks? Also, will dropping the rear help with traction off the line and also stability through turns and corners? Which is better to drop the back end, shackles or blocks? Will it hurt ride quality?

Shackles , as the axle is under the spring. Blocks would result in a lift of the rear end. As far as the shocks, I think that a 2" drop is still in their range of damping.

If you do what slow said ... don't tow or haul anything. It will get scary if you have any weight on it.

now where did you hear that from? the overload leaf will give you about 1/2 to 3/4" drop. i saw some adjustable shackles in sport truck today too that would give up to 3", i just don't recall the manufacturer. damn alzheimers again!

Drop it with some 2" shackles, they lower your ride hight and ride just like stock. i have a pair if you are interested. I'll take $30 shipped.

i have 2" shackles on mine and it levels it out quite nice. i think i might get the hotchkis 2/4 kit and leave my shackles on there and see how that looks.

like *** .... your rear would be 2 inches lower than the front, or something close to it.

I just have this picture of the back bumper dragging *** and the front one trying to take off. Like you got a 'couple dead bodies in the trunk' look.
