DRL's keep burning out
#1
Well, its happened over an over. I buy brand new bulbs for my DRL's and in about 3 weeks they are both burnt out. I don't know what the problem is. Has anyone else experienced this???

Mine did the same thing, I even tried L.E.D.'s and they only lasted around a month. Finally used Die-Electric grease,( got at GM Dealer ) get new bulbs,
put Die-Electric grease in socket, make sure glass on bulb has no grease or oil from your fingers. Use a rubber glove when you put the new bulbs in.
Also get bulbs from Dealer, I was told the new GM bulb last longer.......
It did.............

For some reasons.. some models' corner lights were holding a lot of moisture causing the lights to blow out quicker.. happened to me untill i changed to clear corners and i sealed everything with clear silicon to be sure there was no moisture... also the gommets around the lights may also leak in some moisture... only advice on that is to get new washers or gommets or whatever they are called and make sure the fittings are sung when you put the lights back into their holes... good luck.
