Default Driver side brake light not working.

Ok I have a 2004 Chevy silverado and my back driver side brake light does not work. here is the kicker I have replaced the bulb 10 times pluse, checked all my fuses, and thats all good to go. Here is what it does. When my driving lights are on it works, but when i apply my break there is nothing. I pulled it out and wiggled the bulb and it would light up when the brake is applyied. Now here is my question. Would it be the circuit board that it runs to be the problem? or is it the housing the bulb is actually sitting in? let me know just got pulled over for it and i wanna get this fix, has anyone else had this problem before.

Do your 4-ways work? Turn signal? Parking lights?

The tail lights connect to a connection board mounted to the frame then goes to the front. Maybe there a short around there?

I found a cheap fix for it over the weekend. The socket its self was loose and has not getting a good connection causeing it to do this. I put to layers of elctrical tape around it to make it hold it in place and it worked. no problems since then with it.
