Just not this time? They just didnt win this time. Dale Jr over his last few races @ the speedways has led more laps, or been in the top 5 more than anyone else. Harvick has a better average finish, but Junior and DEI are by far the most dominant plate team out there. RCR and Hendrick had a pretty impressive setup, but DEI is still fierce in the plate setups

I think it would have been up for grabs if they would have went back green, depending on who got the most help, but definately would have been a great shootout to watch.

Without Vickers loosing it, Jr. blows by Gordon( ) with a tap and wins! Instead, they run 4 under yellow....... Somthin's gotta give......... they gotta go Green/White/Checker

That is all speculation. Gordon ran fast all day. I do have agree that finishing a race under caution is Like I said before, they could just let the caution laps stop counting when there are 10 or less laps to go. A lot of lower classes of racing do that.

I hate that it ended under cuation im just suprised nascar did'nt wait about 5 more seconds and through the yellow. Junior would have won then. He is their new golden boy (im actually a fan of dei) but nascar is getting ridiculous with their calls. To much control with changing the race. It seems like the other teams are begining to catch up to dei on plate tracks. I can see a new rule comming NO cans of beer or soda aloud in the track. Have to buy cups of beer at the concession stand. Thanks to the fans at dega!

Amen to that. I cannot believe that they threw stuff out on the track. I think that they might have ruined it for everyone. I know that they were upset that it ended under caution, but that was ridiculous.

I think NASCAR is going to change a lot in the next year or so. Too bad, I have always loved the sport.

I dont think it was more a fact it finished under caution, as to the fact that NASCAR "stole" another plate win from DEI. The replay showed Jr was about even w/ Gordon into the turn when the yellow flew, and once they worked their way back to the line (granted, the yellow had been displayed, and it didnt matter) Jr was a good bit ahead of Gordon.

It would've been one hell of a shootout, thats for sure tho. Hey, i wonder if NASCAR is going to penalize Vickers for spinning and giving a win to Geoff, like they did w/ Jr? lol

The freeze frame replay I saw Gordon was about 3/4-1 length ahead at the time of caution, and Gordon let up when it came out and Jr kept it in the gas and raced to the line, and made it seem he was way in the lead. broke a rule right there. And if Jr was so much better what was he doing in second place anyway? If anybody stole the race it was the people throwing stuff out there and thus keeping the caution out. Is NASCAR supposed to change all of their rules beacuse jr did not win? A caution finish sucks, but is a possibility every race.
