Default The DEI Tallagega spell has been broken

What a great race all the way through. Just wondering what everybody else thought about it. I hated to see it end under caution but I guess that's racin'. I thought all the fans who threw stuff on the track were acting like idiots. Wish I would not have had to miss going this year
but look out in the fall . I think the new set ups make for much better racing, or for the fans anyway.

There's good and bad to the new setups/rules/points. Its not perfect, nor will it ever be, but thats the fact you have to get used to when there's some sort of sanctioning body making up stuff.

Im not a fan of finishing under caution, but i understand why they do. But i would much rather see guys race back to the yellow. Just feels like its more of a challange, whether your teammate is behind you, or 20 cars in front, i like seeing the competition factor. Other than Geoff Gordon winning, it was a good race. Sometimes its just better to be lucky, than good

Ahhh, it was good until it finished under caution. I don't know if JR. would've been able to get up there because his car wasn't all that great on the restarts but, I sure would've liked to see him try.

I think the idiot fans caused it to finish under caution becuase of all the crap they threw on the track. DUMBASSES!!!!!!

He wouldnt have, cause it would've taken him about 3 laps in order to get a run, and 4-5 to make a move. All in all, @ least it was a Chevy that won

Dale wasn't bad on restarts he just wanted to have fun passing everybody. If it went back to green gordons bumper would have beaten to $hit like johnsons. It was a good race all in all. Like Ling_650vette said as long as a chevy won.

Excellent race, up in till the last 5 laps. I think they need to change the rules on finishing under yellow. They use to be able the race back to the flag, to decide the win, now that the field is frozen at the time of caution, its just luck . They should red flag the race down to the last lap, or make it so Caution laps don't count, in under 10 to go.

I wanted to see cars 4-5 wide coming through the tri-oval, trying to get a run on JR, which they wouldn't have. Remember the finish in the fall race (Michel W won)

Jr. did no thave the car to win on the restart. He was fast on the long runs, but no the restarts. Everyone knows that DEI is strong at the superspeedways, just not this time. I love the way that people bash Gordon. If he sucked, nobody would care. Gordon has proven himself at the superspeedways, like today, and the short tracks.

Personally though, I would like to seem them stop counting the caution laps with under 10 to go. It would make for some hard racing. But then again, I think their rule of giving the first car that is a lap down their lap back a crock of sh*t. At a track like Daytona it is almost impossible to make up a lap. They are giving someone a chance to win the race that would not normally have it. But, NASCAR is slowly changing the more popular it gets.

That is why I really enjoy going to Irwindale Speedway. It is a local track that has racing on saturday nights. It is a half mile and the drivers give it everything they have. I love watching it.
