Default Daytime running lights Problem

I have had my truck for about 6 months now, I have replaced the passenger
Daytime Running Light 3 times. I have noticed that every GM truck I have seen
with a DRL bulb out was always on the passenger side.
The last bulb I had to replace was an LED bulb, as I thought it would last longer
but It did not.
Anyone know of a GM bulletin for this problem ?

All help appreciated

Buy some electrical grease from Pep Boys or whatever your local automotive store is. I spent $2 on some and haven't had a burned out bulb since

So I just put grease into bulb socket and that heals it?
I won't ask how it works I will just Do It.

Thank you very much for info.

GM has made a new bulb that is a 14 volt bulb. It is a 4114k bulb. GM part number is 15199562.

Make sure you replace the bulb with the exact part # listed I believe it is 3157KX. I believe the ones you buy at std parts stores dont have the KX at the end of the part# & wasnt designed to be runned all the time. When I replaced mine I couldn't find one at the parts store so I had to go to the dealer. My truck is about 5yrs old & I have only had to replace both bulbs once.
