Talking Date is set! Coming home July 4th.

Well, our date to return is now set in stone. July 4th I leave here and arive back in the states 1.5 hours later. Its a 7.5 hour flight from our base here to our base in Maine. With the time difference we will arrive 1.5 hours later. Its been a long slow deployment, but we did manage to rack up 5 more ribbons. We've gone to alot of places i'll tell you all about later.(opsec)

I'm looking forward to getting home and seeing how my little girls have changed. When i left the youngest was just starting to crawl. Now she's starting to walk! My older girl turned 3 in March, and is talking ALOT! I'm sure the youngest wont remember me, but thats ok. I'll spend alot of time with them when i get back, so they get to know me again and i get to know them.

The reason I'm posting this now is cuz were starting to get things packed up now, and its feeling more real. I'm looking forward to getting back to the track and maybe seeing some of you guys there.

Congrats on coming home!

I know you're happy. I know the feeling as well having been deployed 8 months during Desert Storm.
