There's a guy where I live with a stock tacoma (I think, it is a little toyota truck) that's been giving me hell, but every time I ask him to race he's busy.......

I think 15.4 stock is pretty impressive. !5.1 wow. I haven't seen one at the Memphis track yet. I don't think I'll let the first one get out on me. We'll see after that.

from where i stand. i just think it would be crazy for me to go buy a titan if i wanted to race. there are tons of aftermarket parts out for the LS1's and our trucks. Yea the titans got some better features in comfort and maybe towing(idk the ratings) and offers great torque stock, but the chebby as they call it is alot lighter and when talkin aerodynamics. its the smallest brick on the pile. I really doubt there will ever be the amount of aftermarket for the titan as there is for the LS1. oh yea im not counting out the hemi trucks and the fords. b/c they have alot of aftermarket themselves and give good competition, but again they have since day one. I read in a magazine where the new F-150 will sell X amount more than the Titan. I dont recall the number but it was just rediculous, and again thats another reason i dont see much aftermarket for the titan.

I guess if performance is your thing. i just dont see the point in buying a Titan, unless you have your reasons for just not liking the big 3.

What yall think?

I think price vs performance "chebby" will always win.

With very little money you can get your truck runnin pretty quick, not to mention, if you had a dodge or toyota, you would have to wait for all the performance parts to come out, they barley have anything to play with

Good Lord, those Titan guys are the biggest bunch of magazine racers I have ever seen! "Well Car & Driver said the Titan was best..." Geez

P.S.- Notice how it's not a Titan, but a TITAN?
