I havent come by a fast toyota truck yet...

Im sure they could be out there somewhere... but the fact that they are ugly as sin makes me not care either way....

Car and driver said the "Toyota was the only truck out of the bunch that drove like a car" .... umm.. who would want that? I have a truck.. not a truck thats a wanna-be car

I know those trucks are turds why would anybody want to spend there money on one of those piece of crap trucks.

I couldn't see one of those trucks coming close to a silverado. They may come faster stock but It will never hold as much power as one of our trucks.

well what the heck, from lookin at the other forum i figured they were low 14's stock. what was the size? Extended cab, crewcab, or what?

"i like what one Titan member wrote: the only way to make a chebby fast is to mod the hell out of it." if there running 14 and 15 second quarter miles, that statement doesn't make much sense.

when your on top everyone wants a piece of you. you don't have to prove anything to anyone, let them prove it to you that theirs is better. just goes to show how much respect they actually have for the GM line up.

i think the new titan with the 5.6L mod motor is really a nice smooth powerful truck. sorry to be the non-hater in here. would i own one? obviously not, but they arent junk and i doubt the run in the mid 15s with that hp and tq curve they have.

also if you pop the hood, the damn thing LOOKS like an ls1 motor.

saying that, damn there is a LOT of ignorance on that particular thread. oh well. they can try to town 9200 lbs with their little half ton pickup and see how they like it. they also incorrectly state that the 2500 duramax GM trucks only can tow 9200 lbs.. wow, what a joke. we pull 16000 lbs worth of 5th wheel trailor with NO problems at all at highway speeds, comfortably.

I can't speak for the other Titan owners so feel free to bash at your descretion. I ran a couple of 15.1s in a full crew cab with just Mobil 1 in the differential - rest is stock. I figure with equivalent mods that most of you were running (air box and exhaust) it should be running in the 14s without much of an issue. I guess we'll see if I get to it. I really had a good time running and hanging out with everyone there. I race bikes so I wanted a strong tow vehicle that I wouldn't need to mod to run along at a good pace. I'll never have it as modified as much as some of you guys have gone since that's just not what I want to do - even if they had the parts for these Nissans. Looking forward to the next time.

He's right about that 15.1 to 15.4. I was there and seen most of his runs and he was a nice guy, not cocky or anything. That Titan moves out for a crew cab and if he hadn't hit the rev limiter in 1st you would have taken me pretty easy I'd imagine. My best time was my last run w/ a 15.39 against a Tundra he must of really have been slow. I was surprized that on my first run I actually stayed with and started to pull on that red SS but he later ran a 14.7 so we were both fresh w/ .800 reation times. But I had a good time and can't wait to do it again...Zed
